Start organising and preparing your belongs by pre packaging them early. Don’t leave it to the last minute!

Make it easier for yourself and for our crew by labeling all of your boxes. This will ensure all boxes and packages will go straight to the right place in your house.

Moving house is the perfect time to de-clutter so sort through everything. This includes your furniture, books, clothes, shoes, kids’ toys and anything else you can think of.

With regard to your fragile items, such as glassware and crockery, it is best to wrap each piece individually and pack them upside-down in the cartons. Insure more protection is added to support really fragile items.

Larger Items, such as tables, chairs and couches, and other items that are too large to put in a box will be wrapped in furniture removal pads by the furniture removalist when they are loading your belongs.

Before you move your fridge, it’s essential that it is empty. This is not just for weight purposes but also so that it is safer to move. Make sure that there’s no food, ice cube trays, condiments or anything else that could move around during moving. You should also remove anything stuck to your fridge outside too, such as fridge magnets.

It is always recommended to save a few spots for parking our truck/s. Parking our truck/s can sometimes can be a challenge and can take more time to load.

The more notice you give to your gas, electricity, phone, pay TV and internet suppliers the better! Whilst most providers claim that they will only need a few business days to facilitate the transfer; in practice this leaves you wide open for the ‘unexpected delays’ that often occur such as needing a technician to inspect before the new connection.
