Moving in Paddington: what to plan
In Paddington, your side of Oxford Street decides where the truck can park: north of it is the Woollahra Council area, south of it the City of Sydney (Woollahra Council).
North side. Under Woollahra Council conditions, a visitor parking permit is not valid on any vehicle over 3 tonnes. Our trucks start at 4 tonnes, so we find a legal spot that doesn’t rely on a permit.
South side. A visitor permit from the City of Sydney works for a removalist’s truck on streets signposted “permit holders excepted”, if your household is eligible.

Woollahra Council’s Wards and Suburbs map places the part of Paddington north of Oxford Street in its area, and the part to the south belongs to the City of Sydney. Each council has its own parking permit rules, so put your street and the nearest cross street in your quote request.
